The Miami Tri Club launched in February 2019. Our mission is to provide a platform for ALL triathletes to learn, train, and race together. Our members include some of the top local athletes as well as the largest group of beginners in the Miami area. We strive to provide a fun athlete experience which supports each individual's goals whether that be to win the race or learn the basics. We have a fantastic sponsor/partner discount program and you won't find a better Race Day VIP Experience anywhere in the country!
The Club was created by Andy Clark, Head Coach of the Alien Endurance and Alien Racing Triathlon Teams, and Steph Reinhold, superstar local triathlete. Heading into its 14th year, Alien Racing has become one of the largest and most active clubs in Miami. Dan Empfield, founder of Slowtwitch, Quintana Roo, and President of Triathlon Business International said “I think Alien represents what seems to me to be a club at its best: where the members have a lot of social and training intersection. The club members are actively rubbing shoulders with each other. I think it’s a great model for coaches in other parts of the U.S., and around the world.”
Coach Andy has helped hundreds of athletes get started in the sport and achieve things many thought impossible. Andy has multiple certifications and degrees in the multisport and fitness industry. Steph's resume of triathlon accomplishments is too long to list! Highlights include: 9x USAT All-American, 27 x IRONMAN finisher, 6 x IRONMAN World Championship (Kona) and IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship Qualifier (multiple times), and multiple local podium finishes and overall wins. Steph and Andy met through the sport and are now married. It's safe to say their lives revolve around triathlon, and they wouldn't have it any other way. Their wedding took place at IRONMAN 70.3 Boulder on August 2nd, 2019 with about 75 of their athletes and friends racing with them!
